Front End Engineering & Design

We provide electrical FEED and design support across a wide range of project scopes, from brownfield modifications to large-scale modular electrical infrastructure. This includes power optimisation, net zero solution studies, and management of cross-discipline interfaces across HV/LV distribution, substations, and package-managed electrical systems to deliver aligned, compliant solutions.

Late-Life Operations and Decommissioning Support

Katoni supports operators through late-life operations and decommissioning phases, providing engineering-led assessments to enable safe, compliant asset transition. Our scope includes electrical power systems, utilities, and safety-critical infrastructure, with detailed load assessment, autonomy evaluation, and system modelling to confirm ongoing requirements in manned and unmanned states. We deliver pragmatic solutions for temporary generation, long-duration autonomous systems, cooling, and navigation or safety aids, supporting safe operations, emissions reduction, and regulatory compliance through cessation-of-production and decommissioning activities.

Obsolescence & Brownfield Capabilities

Our team delivers practical and efficient brownfield electrical solutions, including nav aid systems, telecoms equipment, UPS replacement and upgrades whilst managing phased integration of new electrical infrastructure into live networks. We support switchgear upgrades and distribution consolidation, including arc flash assessment and protection improvements, together with specialist commissioning support for complex brownfield environments.

Power System Modelling & Studies
