IT Helpdesk / Support Technician - ROLE FILLED

We are recruiting for a team player to provide first/second line technical support and assistance on a range of IT issues to their employees. You’ll join a small and dynamic IT team that moves quickly and deals with a wide range of issues and challenges on a daily basis.

Dealing with a mixture of calls, emails, video conference and in person contact, you will enjoy resolving issues and providing an excellent level of IT support.

Having a proactive and highly organised approach, you will have the ability to prioritise workloads and react to change, along with having a friendly and personable manner when liaising with your fellow colleagues. Playing an important part in the IT team, you will also assist in setting up new starters, ensure our systems run smoothly and configure new IT hardware.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide first and second-line technical support.

• Act as a key point of contact for technical knowledge and expertise.

• Demonstrate professionalism and support the company'sgoals and values.

• Follow and adhere to processes and procedures whilstchecking and advising where things can be improved upon.

• Communicate effectively with IT management and provide regular updates.

• Build, deploy and configure PC's for new/existing employees.

• Upgrade hardware and software as required.

 

Key Areas of Technical Support

• Windows based desktop, laptop and server environment

• Microsoft Office 365 Product Suite

 

Additional desirable skills and knowledge

• Active Directory - Managing Users, Computers, Groups andOU structures

• Knowledge of networking and cyber security

• Microsoft Power Automate

This role is ideal for you if you have a passion for IT and ideally a year or two experience in a similar helpdesk environment.

Being able to understand the user’s needs, manage issues to resolution and escalate where necessary are necessary for this role. Additionally, strong trouble shooting skills and the ability to learn and adapt quickly will be essential. Full support and training will be provided to ensure that you’re able contribute effectively as quickly as possible.
